人家 [rén jia]

1. ■ (别人) other; another:

人家都这么说。 That's what everybody says.

人家能吃苦, 我就不能? If other people can endure hardship, why can't I?

人家能做到的, 我们也能做到。 If other people can do it, so can we.; What other people can do we can do, too.
